All candidates undertaking the OCANZ Competency in Optometry Examination must complete the online Cultural Safety Training program before progressing to the clinical examination. Clinical applications cannot be processed without proof of completion.

How the program is assessed
- Each of the 6 tutorials ends with a short post-tutorial assessment (interactive quizzes and short answer items based on clinical scenarios)
- You must score ≥80% on each of the 6 post-tutorial assessments
- A final multiple-choice exam covers all six tutorials — also requires ≥80% to pass
- The program is self-paced — log in and complete tutorials when convenient
